What kind of quality does these sound effects have?
- The sound effects on this website are submitted by the users them selves. Quality may vary. We encourage the users to upload the samples in at least 192kbit 44kHz mp3 stereo files, since compressed audio files of lesser quality may render useless. If you are looking for extremely high quality lossless digital audio (e.g. wav files recorded and mastered at 192 kHz), you are probably looking in the wrong place.
What format can be found here?
- Currently we only support the mp3 format due to Adobe Flash restrictions. Ogg and other are not supported.
Are these sound effects really free?
- Yes. You man download, edit and use these sound effects just as you like. You may use these in any of your productions. All sound effects submitted by the users are released openly under the GPL license.
